Tortellini Pomodoro at Frankie, Johnnie & Luigi Too

Our family seems to like this small chain of restaurants since we seem to eat here at least once a month. This one is on Saratoga Avenue near Westgate and El Paseo Shopping Centers. Shown here is the dish Heidi always gets and I occasionally get. I think my brother Steve is the one that got us started on this dish. It's our favorite tortellini pomodoro of all time. The sauce is a perfect blend of the white and red. They usually put lots of fresh garlic on top, so if you're not a huge fan of garlic you can ask them to hold it or add light garlic. The picture is shown with light garlic.

Here's a picture of the restaurant's small bar.

Pulled Pork Sandwich at Ragoots

This is my third time trying the pulled pork sandwich at Ragoots here in Morgan Hill. I've only had a pulled pork sandwich at one other place (Trail Dust, also in Morgan Hill) and I prefer the Ragoots' dish. As you can see, it's quite a large portion of food where the roll was nice and fresh and the meat is slow cooked with just the right amount of tangy but sweet BBQ sauce. It's definitely on the tangy side, but it's not drowning in sauce so it's just perfect (in my opinion).

To me, they should give two pieces of lettuce and more tomatoes so I can have a good amount of produce in each sandwich half, but I guess I should just ask for more. It would be nice if there were another side-option besides chips.

I think this item is around $7...

CreAsian Bento Lunch - Chicken Teriyaki & Gyoza

This is a picture from CreAsian restaurant in Morgan Hill. It opened a couple of months ago and is ownd by a nice family that grew up in Morgan Hill but now live in San Mateo.

The food was very good and they take pride in the presentation of their dishes.

The teriyaki sauce is on the mild side so if you like super sweet teriyaki sauce then you might not enjoy this dish. I think they serve super sticky sushi rice with most of their meals. The gyoza was good. Quality and taste was in line with other Japanese restaurants.

This two-item bento box costs $7.95 at the time of this post.
